    Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has secured a ₹41 crore contract for a railway signalling upgrade project, marking another step forward in India’s ongoing rail infrastructure modernization efforts.

    The project involves the installation and upgradation of advanced signalling systems aimed at improving operational safety, increasing line capacity, and enhancing train movement efficiency. Modern signalling technologies are critical for reducing congestion and enabling faster, more reliable rail services across busy routes.

    According to industry sources, the contract is part of a broader push by Indian Railways to adopt state-of-the-art systems, including electronic interlocking and automated signalling, to meet rising passenger and freight demand.

    Texmaco, a key player in rail engineering and infrastructure, is expected to leverage its technical expertise to deliver the project within stipulated timelines while adhering to stringent safety standards. The company has been actively expanding its footprint in railway EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) projects.
