VietJet has partnered with SmartKargo to implement AIRCAM, the company’s AI-powered Revenue and Capacity Management (RCM) solution. The decision highlights VietJet’s focus on strengthening its role in Asia’s competitive air cargo and e-commerce markets through
    data-driven strategies.

Fully integrated with the SmartKargo Cargo Management Platform, AIRCAM provides VietJet with an end-to-end system to forecast demand, manage available belly space, and maximize cargo revenues in real time. By dynamically balancing market demand, pricing, and capacity, the solution enables airlines to improve yields and reduce inefficiencies.

“Air cargo has become a critical growth engine for VietJet,” said Nelson Wu Di, Managing Director at VietJet Cargo. “Implementing SmartKargo’s AIRCAM solution allows us to bring AI-driven forecasting and real-time revenue optimization to our operations. This gives our
teams the ability to respond faster to market conditions, optimize capacity utilization, and grow profitability across our network — all while continuing to deliver reliable service for our customers.”

VietJet’s adoption of AIRCAM reflects a wider trend among airlines in Asia seeking to transform belly cargo into a strategic profit contributor.

The system’s predictive capability and real-time adjustments are expected to give VietJet an edge in managing capacity, particularly as ecommerce growth fuels demand for efficient, reliable air logistics.

Olivier Houri, Chief Revenue Officer at SmartKargo, noted that the move underscores VietJet’s forward-looking strategy. “VietJet’s adoption of AIRCAM reflects their vision and commitment to turning cargo into a strategic profit center. AIRCAM empowers airlines to make datadriven decisions by combining advanced AI forecasting with real-time revenue and capacity optimization. We are proud to support VietJet as they accelerate their cargo growth and unlock new revenue opportunities across Asia.”

With AIRCAM, VietJet gains the flexibility to address seasonal peaks, fluctuating passenger traffic, and shifting cost environments. The platform continuously evaluates both demand and pricing, supporting proactive decisions that align operational efficiency with profitability
    goals.

This latest development also marks an extension of the collaboration between VietJet and SmartKargo, reinforcing their shared commitment to digital transformation and sustainable growth in the air cargo sector. As regional carriers increasingly embrace AI-powered tools, VietJet’s step into AI-driven revenue and capacity management places it among the airlines redefining air cargo strategy in Asia.
