VOC Port has achieved a 63.08 per cent reduction in the Pre-Berthing Detention Time, thus bringing it down to 11:52 hours in April-June 2025 from 31.20 hours in April-June 2024.

This was made possible due to the faster execution of port infrastructure projects such as commissioning of North Cargo Berth-II & III for handling bulk cargo; deployment of 5 Harbour Mobile Cranes and deployment of crawler cranes for windmill blade handling, says a release.
