V O Chidambaranar  Port Authority strengthened its focus on official language implementation and institutional coordination during the quarterly Official Language Implementation Committee (OLIC) meeting for the quarter ending June 2026.

The meeting was chaired by Susanta Kumar Purohit, Chairperson of VOCPA, and attended by Rajesh Soundararajan, along with Heads of Departments and concerned Nodal Officers.

Key discussions centered on achieving the Annual Programme targets for 2026–27, strengthening bilingual implementation in official documents, ensuring compliance with Official Language Rules, and conducting Hindi and Technical Workshops. The committee also reviewed preparations for the newly constituted TOLIC Office-2 meeting scheduled for July 2026 under VOCPA’s chairmanship.

The deliberations reflected VOCPA’s continued commitment to administrative excellence, effective governance, and the promotion of Rajbhasha implementation across the port ecosystem.
