Wan Hai Lines has announced a revision to the port rotation of its JST service, aiming to enhance schedule reliability and better align capacity with cargo demand.
In a customer advisory, the Taiwan-based carrier said the updated JST loop will feature a modified sequence of port calls, designed to streamline transit times and improve operational efficiency. The changes are expected to take effect in the coming weeks, subject to vessel schedules.
The carrier noted that the adjustment is part of ongoing network optimisation efforts to address fluctuating volumes and maintain weekly sailing frequency. By refining the rotation, Wan Hai aims to reduce delays and provide more predictable connections for regional shippers.
Industry observers said such service recalibrations are common as lines adapt to evolving trade flows, port congestion levels and vessel deployment strategies. Customers have been advised to review revised schedules and coordinate with local offices for booking and documentation updates.
Wan Hai reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining stable service coverage while responding flexibly to market conditions across its intra-Asia and regional trade lanes.
