ZIM Integrated Shipping Services and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company have expanded their Asia–U.S. East Coast container network by adding Jacksonville, Florida, to one of their joint liner services. The move is aimed at strengthening cargo connectivity between Asia and the southeastern United States while offering customers greater flexibility and improved port coverage.

The inclusion of Jacksonville is expected to enhance access to one of the fastest-growing logistics hubs in the U.S. Southeast, supporting importers and exporters with more efficient supply chain options. The revised service will provide regular calls at Jacksonville alongside existing ports in the rotation, improving transit reliability and network reach.

The expansion reflects continued efforts by both carriers to optimize their service offerings in response to evolving trade demand and growing cargo volumes through U.S. East Coast ports. The enhanced network is expected to benefit shippers handling consumer goods, retail merchandise, and industrial cargo moving between Asia and the United States.
