CMA CGM’s subsidiary CNC has announced the launch of CV8, its new dedicated shuttle service connecting Central China to South Vietnam.

CNC noted that the CV8 service is expected to complement the existing CV2 service, offering expanded capacity and increased frequency.

The CV8 service will offer direct service between Central China and South Vietnam, while with additional sailings and weekend departures from China, CNC is expected to provide its customers with greater flexibility and faster delivery times.

The box carrier said it will use two owned container vessels on the service that will have the following rotation: Shanghai (China) – Ningbo (China) – Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) – Shanghai

The service will commence on 28 December, when CMA CGM Escurial is estimated to arrive at Shangai port.
