    In a significant initiative promoting health and well-being, Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal Private Limited and the Tuticorin Container Yard Association jointly organized a Free Medical Camp at BCT Yard, Muthiahpuram on Friday, 21 Feb 2025.

    The camp, held from 10 am to 5 pm, provided essential healthcare services to truck drivers , depot staff and their families. Comprehensive eye tests, blood check-ups and sugar level testing were conducted to detect underlying health conditions and promote preventive care. Free glasses were also distributed to those in need.

    The event witnessed over 160 participants, emphasizing the importance of accessible healthcare in the logistics sector. DBGT continues to promote health awareness and community well-being in the region through such initiatives. Special thanks to Mr Muthuraman, Secretary, TCYA, for his outstanding efforts in coordinating with individual yard officials, making this event a grand success.

    DBGT would like to extend special thanks to the BCT management for providing a comfortable office space, refreshing water supply and delicious snacks, creating a memorable experience for participants.
