Stolt Tank Containers (STC) has successfully retained its EcoVadis Gold rating, highlighting the company’s dedication to sustainability. This accomplishment positions STC among the top 2 percent of companies within its industry and the top 5 percent of all businesses assessed globally, showcasing excellence in environmental practices, ethics, labour standards, and sustainable procurement.
This recognition for STC is part of a larger commitment across Stolt-Nielsen, which has also received EcoVadis Gold ratings for all three of its Liquid Logistics businesses over the past year: Stolt Tankers, Stolthaven Terminals, and Stolt Tank Containers.
EcoVadis is a globally recognised assessment platform that evaluates businesses’ sustainability performance based on four key categories: environmental impact, labour and human rights standards, ethics, and procurement practices.
Hans Augusteijn, president of Stolt Tank Containers, expressed gratitude to the entire team for their contributions, stating, “Sustainability is at the core of STC’s operations, as we seek to drive meaningful progress. By prioritising collaboration and innovation, we help customers meet their sustainability objectives while reducing their environmental footprint.”
Maren Schroeder, Stolt-Nielsen executive sponsor for sustainability and president of Stolt Tankers, added, “Sustainability is an integral part of how we do business. We are very proud to see our sustainability efforts recognised by EcoVadis for all three of our logistics businesses, and this reflects the hard work and dedication of many of our colleagues around the world.”
