Mahindra & Mahindra has secured its largest-ever export order, receiving a confirmed booking for 35,000 units of its popular Scorpio Pik-Up, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global automotive journey. The landmark order underlines Mahindra’s growing strength in international markets and reinforces its position as a key exporter of rugged utility vehicles.

The Scorpio Pik-Up units will be supplied across multiple overseas markets, catering to demand from both commercial and lifestyle segments where durable, high-performance pickup trucks are increasingly sought after. The vehicle is known for its robust build, off-road capability, and adaptability to challenging terrains, making it well-suited for markets in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and select Asia-Pacific regions.

Company officials said the record export deal reflects strong global confidence in Mahindra’s product quality, engineering capabilities, and cost competitiveness. It also aligns with the automaker’s broader strategy to expand its international footprint and reduce reliance on domestic sales by scaling up exports.

The order is expected to provide a boost to Mahindra’s automotive manufacturing operations in India, supporting production volumes and strengthening supply-chain activity. Industry analysts note that such large export wins are particularly significant at a time when global automakers are facing uneven demand and intensifying competition.

With this development, Mahindra continues to consolidate its status as one of India’s leading vehicle exporters, while positioning the Scorpio Pik-Up as a flagship model driving its international growth ambitions.
