DP World has announced the appointment of a new chief executive to lead its operations across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, reinforcing its leadership structure in one of its most strategic markets.

The newly appointed CEO will oversee the company’s port, logistics and supply chain operations across key GCC countries, working to strengthen trade connectivity and expand integrated logistics services. The role is expected to focus on enhancing operational efficiency, developing regional infrastructure and supporting the growth of trade flows across the Gulf.

DP World operates a network of ports, inland logistics hubs and supply chain solutions across the region, including major facilities at the Port of Jebel Ali, one of the world’s busiest maritime gateways and a critical hub for cargo moving between Asia, Europe and Africa.

The leadership appointment comes as the company continues to expand its logistics footprint and invest in infrastructure to support rising trade volumes across the Middle East. The GCC region remains a key pillar of DP World’s global operations due to its strategic location along major shipping routes.

Industry observers say the new CEO will play a key role in driving regional growth, strengthening partnerships with governments and customers, and advancing the company’s long-term logistics and trade facilitation strategy in the Gulf.
