PSA Mumbai, a sense of anticipation and pride marked yet another milestone as the terminal welcomed a fresh batch of its signature “Green Ferraris” — a nickname widely used for its high-performance quay cranes and terminal equipment known for speed, precision, and efficiency.

This biannual induction has become a defining rhythm for the terminal, reflecting its continuous push to scale up capacity and maintain its position as India’s largest container terminal. The newly arrived equipment will now undergo rapid commissioning and testing before being deployed into live operations, ensuring minimal lead time between delivery and productivity gains.

The addition of these advanced machines is part of PSA Mumbai’s broader strategy to enhance operational efficiency, reduce vessel turnaround times, and deliver consistent service excellence to its growing customer base. Built with modern technology and sustainability considerations, the “Green Ferraris” also align with the terminal’s focus on environmentally responsible port operations.

Terminal officials highlighted that the swift integration of new equipment underscores the team’s operational readiness and technical expertise. Once commissioned, the new fleet will strengthen yard and quay productivity, enabling the terminal to handle higher volumes with improved reliability.

Reaffirming its commitment to customers, PSA Mumbai emphasized that it remains fully geared to support trade with speed, safety, and efficiency — continuing to play a pivotal role in India’s maritime logistics ecosystem.
