Group Concorde has entered into a strategic partnership with Avianca Cargo to support the airline’s cargo growth ambitions across five international markets, strengthening its commercial reach and customer engagement capabilities.
Under the agreement, Group Concorde will act as the general sales and service representative for Avianca Cargo in the designated markets, focusing on expanding cargo sales, strengthening relationships with freight forwarders, and increasing market penetration for the carrier’s air freight services.
The partnership is expected to help Avianca Cargo enhance its position in key trade corridors by improving access to local customers and providing tailored cargo solutions for exporters and logistics providers. Industry observers said the collaboration reflects growing demand for specialised sales representation as airlines seek to expand globally while optimising operational efficiency.
Avianca Cargo is one of Latin America’s major cargo airlines and operates an extensive network connecting the Americas with Europe and other international destinations. The carrier is particularly active in transporting perishables, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce shipments, and general cargo.
Group Concorde said the partnership will support Avianca Cargo’s long-term commercial strategy by leveraging its regional expertise, industry relationships, and market development capabilities. The agreement is also expected to improve service accessibility for customers across the selected markets.
The air cargo sector has increasingly relied on strategic partnerships and outsourced sales representation to strengthen market presence and capture emerging trade opportunities amid changing global supply chain dynamics. Airlines are also focusing on improving network flexibility and customer service capabilities to remain competitive.
Industry analysts noted that the collaboration could help Avianca Cargo expand cargo volumes in high-growth regions while supporting broader international trade flows between Latin America and global markets.
