    J M Baxi Ports and Logistics Private Limited has signed an Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Agreement with the Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) for integrated cargo handling operations at Indira Dock Berths (Cluster 1), further strengthening India’s maritime logistics and port infrastructure.

    Under the agreement, J M Baxi Ports and Logistics will operate and manage the Mumbai Clean Cargo Terminal for an initial period of 10 years, with a provision for extension by an additional five years.

    The company will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused terminal operations, aimed at enhancing cargo handling efficiency, improving operational performance, and supporting the growing trade requirements at Mumbai Port.

    The partnership underscores the shared commitment of J M Baxi Ports and Logistics and the Mumbai Port Authority towards operational excellence, modernization of port infrastructure, and the development of future-ready cargo handling facilities. The initiative is also expected to create greater opportunities for trade while strengthening collaboration with customers, logistics partners, and other stakeholders.

    The agreement marks another significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of one of India’s key maritime gateways.
