Sinotrans has strengthened its presence in the China–India trade lane by expanding its service network through slot arrangements on the CSX/CI8 service jointly operated by Emirates Shipping Line and Evergreen.
The company will market the enhanced offering under the CIW2 service, providing customers with a new direct connection linking major ports in China, Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka and India.
The service is operated by a fleet of six container vessels, each with an average capacity of approximately 6,000 TEUs, offering reliable and competitive shipping options for exporters and importers across the region.
The CIW2 service will call at the following ports:
Qingdao – Xiamen – Nansha – Shenzhen (Dachan) – Port Klang – Colombo – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Port Klang – Qingdao.
The expanded network is expected to enhance cargo connectivity between China and India’s west coast while also improving access to key regional transshipment hubs at Port Klang and Colombo. The service is designed to support growing bilateral trade and provide greater flexibility and frequency for customers moving containerised cargo across Asia.
With the introduction of CIW2, Sinotrans further strengthens its service portfolio on the China–India corridor, reinforcing its commitment to offering comprehensive, efficient and seamless logistics solutions for regional and international trade.
