Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate dry dock repairs of DCI vessels at CSL’s facilities across India.

Signed on 7 September 2026, the five-year MoU aims to strengthen cooperation between the two organisations under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. The agreement was signed by Sanil Peter, General Manager (Ship Repair), on behalf of CSL, and Dr GVR Murthy, General Manager (Technical), on behalf of DCI.

The partnership is expected to support efficient vessel maintenance, enhance repair capabilities and ensure sustained operational readiness of DCI’s fleet.

The agreement further strengthens collaboration between CSL and DCI towards developing a more efficient maritime ecosystem in India.
