Allcargo Logistics’ wholly-owned worldwide subsidiary ECU Worldwide announced on Thursday that it has teamed up with ShipBob to provide its air and ocean freight services to the latter’s fulfillment centers and receiving hubs in the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia.

ECU Worldwide will be a key component of ShipBob’s end-to-end managed freight and inventory distribution program, FreightBob, through its network spanning more than 180 countries, more than 2,400 direct trade lines, and door-to-door deliveries, according to Allcargo Logistics, which announced the partnership.

“Our new-age tech-driven booking platform ECU360 has redefined the global supply chain efficiency with convenient features, continued product innovation and a worldwide network. “The association with ShipBob will help us further deepen our delivery capabilities across regions. We look forward to helping their clients do business globally,” Niels Bach Nielsen, Regional Head – USA and Canada at ECU Worldwide, said.

According to the statement, this would assist ShipBob in managing its online inventory for its merchants in more than 50 markets as part of ECU Worldwide’s LCL (less-than-container load) business.

ShipBob is an international platform enabling mid-market e-commerce merchants and small and medium-sized enterprises to manage their supply chains and execute orders.

According to the company, the partnership will enable a more efficient inbound inventory flow from their suppliers and provide their clients with endto-end distribution capabilities. Additionally, ECU has helped ShipBob’s clients export parts of their main inventory from the United States to ShipBob’s facilities abroad.
