The Port of Barcelona reported a turnover of €206 million in 2025, highlighting strong operational performance and steady growth in cargo and logistics activities. The port authority attributed the results to robust container traffic, increased cruise operations, and diversified commercial services across its terminals.

Container throughput at the port remained a key driver, supported by improved terminal efficiency, investments in automation, and strengthened intermodal connections. In addition, the port’s cruise and passenger operations saw a rebound, contributing positively to commercial revenue streams.

Port officials said the performance underscores Barcelona’s strategic role as a leading Mediterranean gateway, balancing cargo handling, logistics, and passenger services. The authority also emphasized ongoing initiatives to enhance sustainability, digitalisation, and infrastructure capacity to support long-term growth and competitiveness.
