Ocean Network Express (ONE) has expanded its Mediterranean network with the addition of a new port call in Albania, introduced via a feeder service operating through the port of Piraeus in Greece. The move enhances connectivity between Albania and ONE’s extensive global liner network, providing shippers with improved access to key trade lanes.

The new feeder-linked port call is designed to support growing containerised trade in the Adriatic and Balkan regions, offering more reliable and frequent connections for imports and exports. By routing the service through Piraeus, one of the Mediterranean’s largest transhipment hubs, ONE will be able to link Albanian cargo seamlessly to its Asia–Europe, Middle East, and transatlantic services.

ONE said the expansion reflects its strategy of strengthening regional coverage through hub-and-spoke solutions, while optimising network efficiency and schedule reliability. The addition is expected to benefit local exporters and importers by reducing transit times and improving service options, as trade demand in Southeast Europe continues to grow.
