CMA CGM has informed customers that it will no longer serve Port Elizabeth from the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East Gulf.

The new destination is Coega (Ngqura Container Terminal).

Shipments will be routed from CMA CGM KRIBI 0MSNIW1MA with a direct call on MIDAS 1.

The zone of loading remains ISC / MEG. Rates previously provided for Port Elizabeth will apply to Coega.

CMA CGM reported that all cargo types are accepted.

Recently, CMA CGM and SIIM signed a strategic 2026 agreement for the weekly transport of over 70 refrigerated containers of pineapples and bananas from Latin America to Dunkirk, consolidating more than 5,000 containers from Africa and Latin America.
