V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority has continued its strong growth momentum, recording a 5.74% increase in container traffic during FY 2026–27 (up to May) compared with the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

These initiatives have strengthened the Port’s competitiveness and reinforced its position among India’s fastest-growing major ports.
