The Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) has taken a major step towards strengthening warehousing infrastructure in the Bundelkhand region with the foundation stone laying of a 22,960 MT capacity warehouse at Kuretha, Jhansi, on July 30, 2026.

The foundation stone was laid by Samuel Praveen Kumar in the presence of P. K. Saw and Roopendra Sharma.

The upcoming warehouse is expected to significantly enhance storage capacity in the region while strengthening logistics infrastructure for agricultural and industrial commodities. The project aligns with CWC’s ongoing efforts to develop modern, efficient, and reliable warehousing facilities across the country.

Once operational, the new warehouse will support improved supply chain efficiency, facilitate better storage solutions for farmers and businesses, and contribute to the economic growth of the Bundelkhand region by enhancing the availability of scientific warehousing infrastructure.
