Glottis has announced a major expansion of its logistics footprint with the acquisition of a strategic warehousing facility in Oragadam, Tamil Nadu — a region widely recognised as the “Detroit of Asia” due to its dense concentration of automotive manufacturing.

The new facility spans approximately 200,000 square feet, of which 150,000 square feet has already been secured by a leading automotive manufacturer. Located in close proximity to major OEMs and supplier networks, the move positions Glottis at the heart of one of India’s most active industrial corridors.

The development underscores the company’s focus on strengthening its integrated logistics capabilities, particularly for the automotive and industrial sectors. With direct access to key manufacturing hubs and strong multimodal connectivity, the Oragadam facility is expected to support efficient inbound logistics, inventory management, and last-mile distribution.

Glottis said the expansion is part of its broader strategy to build scalable, end-to-end supply chain solutions that align with evolving industry demands for speed, flexibility, and operational efficiency.

By establishing a presence in Oragadam, the company aims to enhance service delivery for existing clients while also catering to new business opportunities emerging within India’s rapidly growing automotive ecosystem.
