Hapag-Lloyd will update the eastbound rotation of its SE3 service from Damietta, Egypt, with Salalah, Oman, added as a new port of call from September 26, 2026.
The revised service will connect the Red Sea with Salalah and onward markets in the Arabian Gulf, while also offering connectivity to Colombo for East India and Bangladesh, as well as multiple destinations across the Far East.
The SE3 service is positioned to offer competitive transit times and schedule reliability, supporting efficient cargo movements between Asia, the Middle East and the Mediterranean.
The updated SE3 rotation, including the first sailing, will be:
Qingdao, China → Kwangyang, South Korea → Ningbo, China → Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia → Jeddah, Saudi Arabia → Port Said, Egypt → Damietta, Egypt → Salalah, Oman → Colombo, Sri Lanka → Singapore → Qingdao, China.
