IAG Cargo has announced its summer schedule, introducing a new service connecting St. Louis to its global air cargo network, aimed at enhancing freight connectivity between North America and key international markets.

The new route will enable faster, more efficient transport of goods including perishables, pharmaceuticals, and high-value commodities. IAG Cargo said the St. Louis service is part of its broader strategy to expand capacity, optimize routing, and strengthen supply chain solutions for its customers.

Officials highlighted that the addition of St. Louis complements the airline’s existing North American network, offering seamless connections to Europe, Asia, and other major trading hubs. The move also reflects growing demand for air cargo services linking secondary US markets to global trade routes.

Industry analysts note that expanding network reach to cities like St. Louis helps carriers capture niche freight flows, improve transit times, and provide more flexible logistics options to exporters and importers.

IAG Cargo confirmed that the summer schedule, including the St. Louis service, will come into effect in the coming weeks, reinforcing its commitment to supporting global trade and supply chain efficiency.
