India and Argentina have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties at the 4th Argentina–India Joint Trade Committee (JTC) meeting held in Buenos Aires.

The meeting was co-chaired by Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Commerce Secretary, India, and Ambassador Fernando Brun, Secretary for International Economic Relations, Argentina. The discussions built on the momentum generated by the July 2025 visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Argentina.

Both sides highlighted the complementary strengths of the two economies and the significant potential to expand and diversify bilateral trade and investment.

The meeting explored opportunities for greater cooperation across several key sectors, including agriculture, tourism, minerals, energy, pharmaceuticals, banking, telecommunications and healthcare.

The discussions are expected to further strengthen economic engagement between India and Argentina while creating new opportunities for businesses and investors in both countries.
