Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said India’s strong economic performance and reform momentum have positioned the country as a beacon of hope in an increasingly uncertain global environment.

Addressing a gathering of industry leaders and policymakers, Modi highlighted India’s sustained growth trajectory, expanding infrastructure base and digital transformation as key pillars underpinning investor confidence. He noted that while many economies are grappling with slowdown pressures, India continues to demonstrate resilience and macroeconomic stability.

The Prime Minister emphasised that structural reforms, enhanced ease of doing business and targeted support for manufacturing and innovation have strengthened the country’s economic fundamentals. He pointed to rising foreign investment inflows, robust tax collections and improved logistics networks as indicators of broad-based progress.

Modi also underscored the importance of private sector participation in driving the next phase of growth, urging businesses to invest in research, advanced technologies and capacity expansion. He said India’s demographic dividend and expanding domestic market offer unique advantages for long-term industrial growth.

Highlighting India’s growing role in global supply chains, the Prime Minister said the country is increasingly viewed as a reliable partner for trade and investment. He added that continued focus on sustainability, green energy and digital governance will further enhance India’s global standing.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to inclusive development, Modi said India’s growth story is not only strengthening its own economy but also contributing to global stability and optimism in challenging times.
