Indore is poised to strengthen its position as a key logistics and distribution hub in central India with the development of a new logistics park expected to attract investments of around ₹600 crore. The project is aimed at enhancing the region’s warehousing, freight handling, and supply chain capabilities while supporting the growing needs of industry and commerce.

The proposed logistics park will feature modern infrastructure designed to accommodate a wide range of logistics activities, including warehousing, cargo consolidation, transportation services, and value-added supply chain operations. The development is expected to improve the efficiency of goods movement across Madhya Pradesh and neighboring states.

Strategically located in one of India’s fastest-growing industrial centers, the facility is expected to benefit manufacturers, retailers, e-commerce companies, and third-party logistics providers seeking improved connectivity and distribution networks. The project aligns with broader efforts to strengthen logistics infrastructure and reduce supply chain costs across the country.

Industry stakeholders believe the investment will create new employment opportunities, attract additional industrial activity, and enhance Indore’s role as a major trade gateway in central India. Improved logistics infrastructure is also expected to support regional economic growth by facilitating faster and more reliable movement of goods.

Once completed, the logistics park is anticipated to become a significant component of Madhya Pradesh’s logistics ecosystem, helping businesses streamline operations and capitalize on growing demand for integrated supply chain solutions. The project underscores the increasing focus on infrastructure development to support India’s expanding trade and manufacturing sectors.
