The achievement surpasses the terminal’s previous monthly record of 5.25 lakh tonnes, which was registered in December 2025, marking another significant milestone in the terminal’s operational performance.

The record reflects the terminal’s sustained focus on operational efficiency, productivity, and seamless cargo handling. It also highlights the strong partnership between V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority and JSWTMTPL in enhancing port operations and strengthening the port’s role as a key gateway for India’s maritime trade.

Congratulating the team on the achievement, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority commended the dedication, commitment, and coordinated efforts of the entire JSWTMTPL workforce in setting the new benchmark. The port expressed confidence that the terminal will continue to achieve greater milestones while contributing to the growth and operational excellence of VOC Port.
