Mariana Express Lines has expanded its MXS service by adding Xiamen and Nansha to the service rotation, strengthening its coverage of key Chinese ports.
The addition of the two calls will provide shippers with additional options for moving containerised cargo through southern and southeastern China. Xiamen and Nansha are important regional gateways, serving manufacturing and export markets in their respective hinterlands.
The network adjustment comes as container carriers continue to modify service rotations to match cargo demand and improve connectivity across regional trade lanes. Adding the two ports is expected to give MXS customers greater flexibility when planning shipments from or to China.
The revised service will also expand Mariana Express Lines’ port coverage and provide additional connections for cargo moving through the region.
For exporters and importers, the inclusion of Xiamen and Nansha could improve access to vessel capacity and provide alternative routing options within the MXS network. The updated port rotation and sailing schedule will determine the specific transit times and connections available to customers.
The changes reflect the continued evolution of regional container shipping networks as carriers optimise port coverage, vessel deployment and schedules in response to market requirements.
