The Federation of Kutch Industries Association (FOKIA) has officially announced the commencement of nominations for the highly anticipated Kutch Business Excellence Award 2.0. The prestigious awards, organized by FOKIA, aim to recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions to various facets of business and societal development in the Kutch district.

FOKIA’s Excellence Awards cover a spectrum of categories, reflecting the multifaceted impact businesses can have on the region. The categories open for nominations include:
(a) Business Growth Drivers: Recognizing entities that have demonstrated exceptional growth, innovation, and resilience in the business landscape of Kutch.
(b) Corporate Social Drivers: Acknowledging organizations committed to making a positive impact on society through various social responsibility initiatives.
(c) Kutch Change Makers: Celebrating individuals or entities that have been instrumental in driving positive change and development in the Kutch district.
(d) Jury Recognition: A special category where the jury identifies and commends noteworthy contributions that may not fall into the other predefined categories.
FOKIA has been a cornerstone in fostering socio-economic development in the Kutch district since its establishment in the year 2000. Serving as an umbrella organization for large, medium, and small industries, FOKIA is dedicated to resolving policy-related issues to accelerate the pace of development in the region.
The association holds a pivotal role as a member of the GST State level Coordination Committee formed by the Department of Gujarat State Tax & Commercial Tax, Government of Gujarat. Authorized by the Director General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, FOKIA issues Certificates of Origin, a mandatory document for export. Additionally, FOKIA collaborates closely with the Government of Gujarat, serving as a knowledge partner in the first-of-its-kind Industrial Promotion cell at Bhuj – Kutch.
