Union Minister for Commerce and Industry and Member of Parliament from North Mumbai, Piyush Goyal has launched the portal for the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA), an ambitious initiative aimed at establishing 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across the country.

The BHAVYA scheme is designed to accelerate manufacturing-led economic growth by creating world-class industrial ecosystems that support investments, employment generation, and the expansion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The initiative seeks to provide industries with ready-to-operate infrastructure, enabling businesses to commence operations with minimal delays.

According to the minister, the industrial parks will offer far more than just land. They will feature comprehensive, investment-ready ecosystems equipped with connectivity, utilities, regulatory approvals, and social infrastructure, creating an environment conducive to industrial development and business growth.

Building on India’s economic and industrial progress over the past 12 years, BHAVYA is expected to strengthen the country’s manufacturing capabilities and attract both domestic and international investments. The initiative aligns with the government’s broader vision of positioning India as a preferred global destination for industry, enterprise, and innovation.

The launch of the BHAVYA portal marks a significant step in enhancing India’s industrial infrastructure and fostering sustainable economic development through integrated industrial parks nationwide.
