    Shri Pavithran M. Kallada, Managing Director of PSA India, visited V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority and held discussions with Chairperson Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Deputy Chairperson Shri Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, and senior port officials.

    The meeting focused on the ongoing developments at the port, key operational matters, and future growth opportunities. Both sides reviewed various aspects of port infrastructure, logistics, and cargo handling operations, with particular emphasis on exploring potential areas of collaboration in the container business segment.

    During the discussions, officials exchanged views on enhancing operational efficiencies, strengthening logistics capabilities, and leveraging emerging opportunities to boost container traffic and capacity at the port. The interaction reflected a shared commitment to supporting the continued growth and development of V.O. Chidambaranar Port and further strengthening its role in India’s maritime and logistics sector.
