    PPA Sets New Thermal Coal Unloading Record at Paradip Port

    Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has once again demonstrated its operational excellence by achieving its highest-ever single-day thermal coal unloading on February 14, 2026.

    On the landmark day, the port successfully handled 47 railway rakes comprising 41 BOBRN and 6 BOXN wagons, marking a significant milestone in its cargo handling performance. The achievement reflects meticulous planning, seamless coordination, and sustained operational efficiency across departments.

    The record underscores PPA’s commitment to strengthening cargo evacuation systems and enhancing turnaround efficiency, particularly in handling critical commodities like thermal coal.
