Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. has secured a ₹71 crore contract from the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), further strengthening its order book and reinforcing its presence in India’s rail-linked logistics and infrastructure sector.

The project involves the execution of infrastructure works for CWC and is expected to support the development of modern warehousing and multimodal logistics facilities. The contract aligns with the government’s efforts to enhance storage capacity, improve cargo handling efficiency, and strengthen supply chain connectivity across the country.

The latest order adds to Texmaco Rail’s growing portfolio of rail, logistics, and infrastructure projects, reflecting continued demand for integrated freight and warehousing solutions. The company has been expanding its capabilities across railway rolling stock, engineering services, freight infrastructure, and logistics development.

Industry experts believe investments in modern warehousing and rail-connected logistics parks will play a key role in reducing logistics costs, improving cargo movement, and supporting India’s manufacturing and export growth.

The contract is expected to contribute to Texmaco Rail’s revenue pipeline while supporting the ongoing expansion of India’s logistics infrastructure and multimodal freight network.
