Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd on Tuesday announced that it has secured an order worth ₹357.11 crore from the JSW Group for the manufacture and supply of railway wagons and rakes.

The contract includes the production of BLSS, BLCS and BFNV rakes, along with BVCM wagons. These rake types are primarily used for containerised and freight transportation, while BVCM wagons are designed for bulk cargo movement.

The order is part of Texmaco’s core rail engineering business, which focuses on rolling stock manufacturing, including freight wagons and specialised rakes. The company said the project will be executed within 11 months from the commencement date.

The latest contract adds to a series of recent wins for Texmaco. In January 2026, the company secured orders worth ₹126 crore from IVC Logistics and APL Logistics, with delivery timelines set for August–September 2026. More recently, on March 28, 2026, it bagged an order worth ₹22.91 crore from North Central Railway.

These developments further strengthen Texmaco’s order pipeline. As of December 31, 2025 (Q3 FY26), the company’s total order book stood at ₹5,661 crore, with a substantial share contributed by wagon manufacturing.
