    Under the leadership of Dr. Narnaware Manish Shankarrao, I.A.S., Tirupur District Collector, a key meeting was held at the Tirupur District Collector’s Office to discuss CSR initiatives and developmental projects for the district. The meeting was attended by Tmt. Sangamithirai, Project Director, along with representatives from the Tiruppur Exporters Association (TEA), including President Shri K. M. Subramanian and Shri N. Thirukkumaran.

    During the interaction, the District Collector called upon all stakeholders in Tirupur to actively contribute to the district’s development and rural upliftment. As a first step, 54 schools in Tirupur have been identified for the implementation of rainwater harvesting systems. A detailed presentation on this initiative is scheduled for 29th October 2025 during the TEA Executive Committee Meeting.

    Additionally, the Collector highlighted the need for contributions to provide basic electricity facilities to hill tribes in the region. He requested TEA’s cooperation in ensuring the success of these initiatives and assured full support from the District Administration.

    Emphasizing collaboration, the Collector stated that TEA and the Tirupur District Administration should work jointly to utilize CSR funds from the Tirupur industry for implementing these projects, thereby fostering sustainable development across the district.
