Allcargo Global Limited (AGL), the international supply chain arm of the Allcargo Group, has announced the appointment of Vaishnav Shetty as Deputy Managing Director with immediate effect. He has also been inducted onto the Board of Directors of Allcargo Global.
AGL represents the Group’s largest business, contributing around 80% of Allcargo Group’s annual revenue.
Vaishnav Shetty, son of Allcargo Group Founder and Chairman Shashi Kiran Shetty, will work closely with Adarsh Hegde, Managing Director of Allcargo Global Limited. His elevation reflects the Group’s structured succession planning and its focus on building a digital-first, future-ready organisation.
The appointment comes at a critical phase of Allcargo Group’s ongoing restructuring, under which its operations are being reorganised into four independent and focused entities. As part of this process, the International Supply Chain business has been demerged into Allcargo Global Limited, which is proposed to be listed, allowing sharper strategic focus and enhanced operational agility.
Commenting on the appointment, Shashi Kiran Shetty said the move underscores the Group’s commitment to developing strong leadership capable of driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and digital innovation in an increasingly competitive global logistics environment.
Adarsh Hegde said Vaishnav represents the next generation of leadership at Allcargo, adding that his innovation-driven and technology-oriented mindset will support the company’s next phase of growth in the global logistics landscape.
Vaishnav Shetty said he is honoured to join the core leadership team of AGL, with a continued focus on customer centricity, technology-led innovation, and disciplined execution to strengthen India’s role in global trade.
Vaishnav joined the Allcargo Group in 2017 and has led multiple portfolios across the organisation. As Chief Digital Officer of Allcargo Logistics Limited, he played a key role in driving digital transformation, AI-enabled processes, and data-led technologies. He has also served as Executive Director – North Asia, leading strategic initiatives to strengthen AGL’s presence in the region.
A major milestone in his tenure has been the development of ECU360, Allcargo’s digital freight platform, which has set new industry benchmarks for usability, transparency, and adoption, reinforcing the Group’s leadership in international consolidation and supply chain solutions.
