    V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority has recorded a robust 42.61% growth in the handling of Oil Cake/Copra cargo during the April–May period of FY 2026–27, compared with the corresponding period of FY 2025–26.

    The impressive growth highlights the port’s sustained focus on operational efficiency, enhanced cargo handling capabilities, and strengthening trade connectivity. The increase in cargo volumes also reflects the growing confidence of exporters and trade stakeholders in the port’s logistics infrastructure and services.
