V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority has reported a strong 73.22 per cent year-on-year growth in windmill blade handling during April 2026 compared to the corresponding period last year, reflecting the port’s growing role in supporting India’s renewable energy sector.

The sharp rise in handling volumes highlights the port’s enhanced capability in managing project cargo efficiently and catering to the increasing logistics requirements of the wind energy industry.

The growth also underlines VOCPA’s contribution towards the development of sustainable infrastructure and the country’s ongoing transition towards green and clean energy solutions.
