Welspun One Logistics Parks has set an ambitious target of leasing 10 million square feet of warehousing and logistics space over the next three years, supported by rising demand for Grade-A industrial infrastructure across India.
The company said the expansion plan is aligned with the continued growth in e-commerce, manufacturing, third-party logistics (3PL), and retail distribution networks, all of which are driving strong absorption of modern warehousing facilities in key consumption and production hubs.
Welspun One is focusing on developing large-scale integrated logistics parks with advanced infrastructure, improved connectivity, and sustainability features. These facilities are designed to cater to domestic and multinational occupiers seeking efficient supply chain solutions and scalable warehousing capacity.
Industry trends indicate that India’s warehousing sector has been witnessing steady growth, supported by formalization of supply chains, GST-driven efficiency improvements, and increasing outsourcing of logistics operations. Tier-1 and emerging Tier-2 locations continue to attract significant leasing activity.
The company highlighted that demand for Grade-A warehouses is expected to remain strong as companies prioritize faster delivery times, cost optimization, and better inventory management. This has led to increased interest from e-commerce players, FMCG companies, automotive firms, and manufacturing sectors.
Welspun One’s leasing strategy is also expected to benefit from growing investments in infrastructure, including highways, dedicated freight corridors, and port connectivity projects, which are improving logistics efficiency across regions.
With its 10 million sq ft leasing target, the company aims to strengthen its position in India’s rapidly expanding warehousing and logistics real estate market, while capitalizing on long-term structural demand trends in the sector.
