    India Seatrade is set to host a landmark event tomorrow, bringing together women leaders from across the shipping and logistics sector for a day of insights, networking, and strategic discussions. The summit, which celebrates women shaping the future of maritime and logistics, will be held at [venue not specified].

    The event will begin at 9:00 AM with registration and networking, followed by a welcome address from Mr. K. Mohandas, IAS (Retd), Chairman of India Seatrade. Ms. Priyanka G, IAS, District Collector of Ernakulam, will deliver the Special Address, while Capt. Radhika Menon, the first woman captain of the Indian Merchant Navy and Co-Founder of the International Women Seafarers Foundation, will keynote the session.

    The day is structured around three major sessions:

    • Breaking Barriers – Women Leading Change in Shipping & Logistics (10:00 – 11:30 AM) will feature top leaders like Ms. Smitha Shetty (Achilles Information Ltd), Ms. Anita Nair (Ario Shipping & Logistics Pvt. Ltd.), and others, moderated by Dr. Asha Pillai (Docker Vision).

    • Navigating Ocean Freight Rates & Maritime Industry Challenges (12:00 – 1:30 PM) brings together experts from Starfish Exports, DP World, Seatech Shipping, CEVA Logistics, Unifeeder, and Hapag Lloyd AG, with Dr. Sharmila Amin (Bertling Logistics India Pvt. Ltd.) as moderator.

    • Building Networks – Collaboration, Mentorship, and Growth (2:30 – 4:00 PM) will showcase leadership from Kamarajar Port Ltd., Vizhinjam International Seaport Ltd., Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority, and the logistics division of DPIIT.

    The event will also feature a fireside chat highlighting the journeys of trailblazing women leaders, including Ms. Diya Binu Pulikkakandam, India’s youngest municipal chairperson, and a special talk on “Logistics 2030 – The Future Women Will Shape” by Ms. Indrani Chatterji, Group CHRO of Allcargo Logistics Ltd.

    The summit aims to foster collaboration, mentorship, and new partnerships, with dedicated B2B networking opportunities throughout the day. The event will conclude with felicitation and closing remarks at 4:30 PM.
