    The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has signed an MoU with Gati Shakti University, marking a significant milestone in advancing freight transportation. This collaboration, under the Heavy Haul Institute (HHI), aims to foster innovation and develop comprehensive strategies for India’s rail freight transport services, setting new benchmarks in logistics excellence.

    Highlighting the MoU between DFCCIL and Gati Shakti University, Shri Praveen Kumar and Prof. Dr. Manoj Chaudhary emphasize its role in fostering research and innovation in freight transportation and logistics.

    The objective of the collaboration is to develop a long-term, integrated freight transportation plan leading up to 2030. It focuses on improving the capacity, quality, and competitiveness of India’s rail freight services, while also implementing actionable, time-bound strategies to enhance heavy-haul freight capabilities.

    The partnership between DFCCIL and Gati Shakti University represents a transformative step in advancing India’s freight transportation sector. Through research, innovation, and strategic planning, this collaboration aims to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of India’s rail freight services, paving the way for a sustainable and prosperous logistics future.
