    State-owned Shipping Corporation of India has announced the appointment of Non official Directors on Board.

    The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), based on the recommendations dated 12.03.2025 of the Search Committee, has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways for appointment/ re-appointment of following persons as Non-official Directors (NoDs) on the Board of Shipping Corporation of India Limited for a period of 01 year, with effect from the date of notification of their appointment/ re-appointment, or until further orders, whichever is earlier:

    Two officials are Appointed and one is re-appointed :

    1. Shri Satish Kumar Chawla

    2. Dr. Priyasheel Hada

    Shri Gulabbhai Rohit (Re-appointed)

    Accordingly, appointment/re-appointment of the aforementioned persons as Non-official (Independent Directors) on the Board of Shipping Corporation of India Limited is effective from 11.04.2025.
