    Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport has surpassed the 1 million tonne cargo milestone for the second consecutive year.

    In the financial year 2025 (FY25), the GMR Group-led Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) handled 1.109 million tonnes of cargo, marking a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 11%. This figure includes 0.73 million tonnes of international cargo and 0.38 million tonnes of domestic cargo.

    “Equipped with world-class infrastructure and the ability to handle everything from perishables to high-value shipments, Delhi Airport continues to strengthen India’s air cargo network,” the airport stated in a LinkedIn post announcing the achievement.

    In FY24, the airport handled 1.003 million tonnes of cargo, 0.65 million tonnes international and 0.36 million tonnes domestic.
