CONCOR Air Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), has commenced its air cargo operations, marking a significant milestone in expanding its logistics offerings. The company has launched dedicated air cargo connectivity from CONCOR’s ICD-Dhandarikalan, Ludhiana to Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, New Delhi, and Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, Amritsar.
The inaugural shipment under CONCOR Air Ltd., destined for the UAE, was successfully dispatched from ICD-Dhandarikalan and moved via Amritsar Airport. This development strengthens CONCOR’s vision to provide seamless, integrated, and multimodal logistics solutions for India’s EXIM trade.
With this launch, CONCOR now offers a complete bouquet of EXIM services—spanning rail, road, and air cargo—ensuring enhanced efficiency, reduced transit times, and cost-effective solutions for stakeholders across the logistics ecosystem.
Speaking on the occasion, CMD Mr. Sanjay Swarup said, “The launch of CONCOR Air Ltd. reaffirms our commitment to creating end-to-end solutions for our customers. By adding air cargo connectivity, we are bridging a critical gap and opening new avenues for India’s exporters and importers.”
This initiative is expected to significantly benefit trade communities in Punjab, Haryana, and neighboring regions by providing faster access to international markets.
