The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, recently celebrated the third anniversary of the National Logistics Policy (NLP), launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 17th September 2022.
Since its launch, the NLP has been a game-changer for India’s logistics sector, focusing on seamless multimodal integration, cost efficiency, digitalisation, and world-class infrastructure development. These reforms are enabling smoother trade flows, strengthening India’s competitiveness, and building resilience in supply chains.
