    CMA CGM, has announced the launch of a new direct call at Vung Tau, Vietnam, in CMA CGM’s Gemalink Terminal on its MEX1 service.

    The first Vung Tau call on MEX1 will be operated by M/V CMA CGM JULES VERNE voy. 0MEM3W1MA with the following schedule:

    Vung Tau (ETA 27/10) – Valencia (ETA 25/11) – Barcelona (ETA 28/11) – Fos (ETA 30/11) – Malta (ETA 05/12)

    In addition, CMA CGM is enhancing its coverage in Cambodia with a fast barge service from Phnom Penh, offering a competitive transit time to Vung Tau and seamless integration into its network.

    Last month, CMA CGM Group announced the acquisition of Freightliner’s UK intermodal operations, in a deal that includes its rail and road logistics services, inland terminals, and the Freightliner brand.
