In a major boost to Kerala’s logistics infrastructure, Driver Logistics LLP today inaugurated its state-of-the-art Logistics Park at Kinfra Hi-Tech Park, Kalamassery. The ceremony was graced by the Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, underscoring the strategic importance of strengthening supply chain and logistics capabilities in the region.

The new Logistics Park — strategically positioned within the Kinfra Hi-Tech Park industrial and technology hub in Kalamassery — is set to enhance operational efficiency and support the company’s expansion plans across South India and beyond. The facility is designed to integrate advanced warehousing, inventory handling, and distribution systems to meet rising demand from sectors such as FMCG, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce.

Speaking at the inauguration, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan highlighted the significance of bolstering Kerala’s logistics ecosystem to attract investment and support industrial growth. He noted that modern logistics infrastructure is vital for reducing transit times, enhancing competitiveness, and linking local supply chains with national and global markets.

“This Logistics Park complements Kerala’s ongoing efforts to build robust industrial infrastructure that can fuel economic development and generate employment,” the Chief Minister said.

Established in 2019 and headquartered in Kochi, Kerala, Driver Logistics has rapidly expanded its network across multiple states, providing third-party logistics (3PL), warehouse management, full truckload (FTL), and part truckload (PTL) services. The company already operates dozens of warehouses and serves a diverse client base in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

The newly inaugurated facility is expected to:

    • Improve operational throughput with modern storage and automated handling systems.
    • Support seamless supply chain management for regional and national customers.
    • Create new job opportunities in logistics operations, material handling, and ancillary services.

Driver Logistics’ leadership described the park as a milestone that reflects the firm’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and enabling world-class logistics solutions. With this expansion, the company aims to strengthen its service delivery and support future growth across India’s rapidly evolving logistics sector.

Industry analysts note that investments in logistics parks not only help companies optimize their distribution networks but also position regions like Kerala to participate more effectively in national commerce and export-oriented supply chains. The state has also recently cleared proposals for multimodal logistics parks near Vizhinjam International Seaport to further enhance Kerala’s cargo handling and connectivity landscape.
