    On 18 February 2026, the Port handled an impressive 2,16,631 metric tonnes (MT) of cargo in a single day, surpassing its previous record of 2,05,995 MT. The achievement marks a significant milestone in the port’s growth trajectory and reflects its rising operational capabilities.

    The record performance highlights the strength of the Port’s modern infrastructure, efficient cargo handling systems, and seamless coordination among terminal operators, stevedores, shipping lines, and other stakeholders.
